Camellia House Weekend / 11:00am – 4:00pm / rain or shine

Come and enjoy our Annual Camellia House weekend featuring live music, walking tours of the Camellia House, activities for children.  Coe Hall is open for self-guided visits.  All activities inside the Camellia House are free including Quatrain,the Barbershop Quartet, Jack Smith (saxophone player) and short talks with Vincent Simeone & Henry B. Joyce.  Coe Hall is open from 11:00am-4:00pm both days and will have watercolor workshops, kids crafts, storytelling with the Mad Hatter and magic shows at 12:00pm & 1:30pm.  At 3:00pm Charles Cresson will speak about camellias and other plants in the winter garden.  For more information call Jennifer Lavella (516) 922-8678 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. PERIWINKLES CAFE WILL OPEN AT THE HAY BARN!!!!  Go to the cafe for a traditional afternoon tea in the cozy garden cafe.  Begin with a complimentary champagne cocktail or mimosa.  Enjoy a hot pot of tea, savory tea sandwiches, classic scones with cream and jam, and other delectable desserts.  Reservations are recommended and are $28.95 per person.  Tea service begins at 12:00pm.  The cafe opens at 11:00am and also features a lunch menu including sandwiches, wraps, salads, homemade soups, deep dish quiche, homemade desserts, cookies, drinks, tea and coffee.  Full bar also available.  Reservations can also be made for other dates for Children Tea Parties, Red Hat Parties, Birthdays, Book Readings, Women's Groups, Bridal and Baby Showers etc...  CALL PERIWINKLES FOR RESERVATIONS (516) 922-5700, RESERVE YOUR SPOT FOR CAMELLIA WEEKEND TODAY!
