If you have any concerns\, please contact us at kcheshire@plantingfields.org  \n  \nAbout Kelly Caldwell\, Director of Conservation\, Senior Conservator\nKelly is the Director of Conservation and a Senior Conservator\, based out of EverGreen’s Brooklyn conservation studio. She brings over fifteen years of experience in the fields of archaeology and conservation to EverGreene’s clients. \nShe oversees and manages the conservation aspects of EverGreene projects involving architectural elements\, masonry\, public art\, monuments\, and artifacts – often working collaboratively with architects\, engineers\, construction managers and fellow conservation professionals. Besides her skills in research\, assessment\, surveying\, scope definition\, project management and consulting\, she has significant hands-on experience with an extremely wide variety of conservation processes and treatments. \nKelly received dual BA’s from University of North Carolina Greensboro in Archaeology and Anthropology. She continued on to University College London to receive her MA in Principles of Conservation and MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums. Upon completion of her graduate training\, Kelly continued expanding her skills in conservation fieldwork and historic preservation\, where she focused on masonry\, sculpture\, and mosaics and she completed several certifications for the use of lasers in conservation. She is an active member of several industry organizations\, including the American Institute of Conservation (AIC); Archaeological Institute of America (AIA); the Canadian Association of Conservation (CAC/ACCR); and an accredited member of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP/ACECP.) Kelly continues to expand her education internationally\, by delivering classroom lectures and onsite training regarding cultural heritage preservation. \n  \n  \n \nAbout EverGreene Architectural Arts\nEverGreene Architectural Arts is a nationally recognized architectural arts and restoration firm specializing in the preservation and creation of decorative finishes\, murals\, plasterwork\, and historic interiors. LICM works closely with its community partners to create concert programs that are relevant and compelling to audiences. The program will harness the profound natural qualities of Planting Fields\, which serves as a place of peace for many. Each session will take place in a different location on the site and teach participants how to lead more mindful lives through meditation. \nWhether you’re an experienced meditator or someone new to mindfulness\, these sessions will offer a gentle yet profound way to quiet your thoughts\, release stress\, and experience the deep stillness that comes from aligning with the natural world. \nAll are welcome and no prior experience is necessary. Together\, we’ll explore the importance of reusing\, reducing\, and recycling in a way that’s perfect for young minds. \nAfter the story\, children will dive into an Earth-inspired craft project\, creating something beautiful while learning about sustainability. This is a wonderful opportunity to make special memories with your little ones\, all while connecting with nature and celebrating the planet we call home. \nCome ready to learn\, create\, and share quality moments with your child as you both celebrate taking care of our planet and environment in a meaningful and memorable way! \n  \nMore about the Little Learner Series\nParks are for everyone – even our littlest learners! Join us twice a month for a brand-new experience: Every other week we will introduce children ages 2 – 5 to the natural world around them and engage them and their parents. We’ll tackle one theme at a time with a nature story\, craft\, and open play outside!
