PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
For wedding photography and general outdoor photography (engagement photos, family photos, etc.), you must obtain a permit from the New York State Parks office. Please note that the permit from New York State Parks does not include photography inside the Main House.

COMMERICIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
Planting Fields has been used as a location for numerous film, television, and editorial projects. The historic architecture of the Main House and beautiful gardens offer a unique and unforgettable setting for film and photography shoots.
Outdoor shoots must receive a permit from the Regional Permits Office of New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation. Specific shoot locations must be preapproved with written consent.
