Planting Fields seeks to unite people with art, architecture and the outdoors by creating an inclusive community place and removing barriers to access. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and accessible space for all patrons, regardless of age, gender, race, or disability.

The grounds of Planting Fields are wheelchair accessible via paved roads and some gravel paths.

For visitors with mobility impairments, the following spaces and structures are also wheelchair accessible:

  • Visitor parking lots
  • The ground floor of Coe Hall
  • The Sensory Garden
  • The Camellia House
  • The Hay Barn
  • The Conference Center
  • Restrooms next to the Main Greenhouse

Hearing Impaired Interpretation

For guests who are hearing impaired, interpreters are now available for tours and events upon request! Please email tours@plantingfields.org at least two weeks in advance of your preferred tour or event date to reserve an interpreter.
