Explore the beauty of the Camellia blooms in our Camellia House!

Vincent Simeone, Arboretum Director and expert horticulturist, will guide an exclusive tour of one of Long Island’s best kept secrets! An experienced lecturer, instructor, horticultural consultant, nationwide speaker and guest on several garden shows including Martha Stewart Living and HGTV, Vincent will bring this magnificent collection of camellias to life!

Tour-goers will experience first-hand the Coe family’s passion for horticulture as they explore the historic collection of more than 200 blooming camellias. Participants will learn about the English traditions of growing camellias under glass, the design elements and history of the planthouse structure, as well as learn about the modern hardy camellias located in the neighboring landscape and how to grow camellias in their own garden!
