Coe Hall: Designing Nature Inside and Out

Tours will resume soon! Enjoy an entirely self-guided tour of the historic Gold Coast estate of English immigrant and American heiress W.R. and Mai Coe and their family. Learn about their lives, their staff, and the artists and architects who designed this historic home and surrounding landscape from our staff of knowledgeable docents stationed throughout the house. Join us for an all-day conference with renowned horticulturists Dr. Michael A. Dirr, Lynden Miller, Landscape Designer and Author, and Vincent Simeone, Director of Planting Fields Arboretum, as we explore the latest developments and introductions of woody plants, designing with shrubs, alternatives to common evergreens, as well as time-honored shrubs for landscape use.
