Ready to watch nature come to life? Let’s get growing! Join us for a fun-filled adventure where science, nature, and creativity come together.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll start by reading Garden Time by Jill McDonald – a charming story that takes us on a journey from tiny seeds to vibrant flowers. After the story, we’ll get our hands dirty as we design our very own mini greenhouses!
Each child will plant their own seeds and create a personalized greenhouse to take home, where they’ll be able to watch their plants grow, bloom, and thrive! It’s the perfect mix of learning, crafting, and growing your very own little garden in the comfort of your home.
More about the Little Learner Series
Parks are for everyone – even our littlest learners! Join us twice a month for a brand-new experience: Every other week we will introduce children ages 2 – 5 to the natural world around them and engage them and their parents. We’ll tackle one theme at a time with a nature story, craft, and open play outside! This series will take place on Friday mornings from 10 – 11am unless otherwise noted.
For any questions, please contact Erin Fitzpatrick at efitzpatrick@plantingfields.org
