This summer, let your child embark on an unforgettable outdoor adventure at Planting Fields Foundation’s Junior Rangers Summer Camp! Bursting with hands-on learning, creativity, and fun, this camp is designed to spark a lifelong love of the natural world.

Campers will explore the wonders of nature through crafts, outdoor adventures, engineering challenges, and environmental stewardship activities. As Junior Rangers, they’ll gain new knowledge about plants, animals, insects, and trees while discovering the importance of caring for the world around them. Adventures await at every corner of Planting Fields, from the historic Laundry Building and scenic woodland trails to the enchanting greenhouses and stunning Olmsted Brothers-designed landscapes. Children will discover wildlife in the Bird Sanctuary, uncover hidden treasures of the historic Main House, and experience something new and inspiring every day.

Through these hands-on explorations, campers will grow as curious explorers, problem-solvers, and budding stewards of the environment – building confidence, friendships, and a sense of wonder that will last long after camp ends.

Campers will take on the role of true Junior Rangers, solving hands-on engineering challenges, practicing conservation skills, and learning real-world ways to care for the environment. They’ll also enjoy fun arts and crafts projects and activities designed to inspire creativity and build nature awareness, all while deepening their role as environmental stewards.

At the end of camp, each Junior Ranger will proudly earn their badge, celebrating their achievements and their growing role as a protector of the natural world!

Enrollment
Enrollment is first come, first serve. A 50% deposit of $300 is required to register your child for Summer Camp. Your remaining balance must be paid before May 1. Once registration is secured through your initial deposit, Planting Fields Foundation will follow up with additional forms regarding medical information and emergency contact information that must be completed and returned no later than June 1, 2025, via email to efitzpatrick@plantingfields.org. A link to pay for the rest of your balance will be sent as well. A 50% refund of your deposit will be provided if you cancel your registration for camp before May 1, 2026. After this date, all other summer camp related registration fees are non-refundable.

10% Sibling Discount 
This discount only applies to the second child’s total payment. Please register ONLY your first child and then contact our Education Manager, Erin Fitzpatrick, at efitzpatrick@plantingfields.org to receive your unique discount code to register your additional child. Sibling relation will be verified by staff. To use the code, parents will have to pay the full payment for the second child.

Online Payment
Payment made through cards will require a 3% processing fee that will automatically be applied at checkout.

If Paying By Check
Please email efitzpatrick@plantingfields.org your name, phone number, and email address, so we know whose spot is being saved. When your check is received, your child’s spot will be saved, and you will be contacted with confirmation of payment and a registration link to input your information.
