Join us for a calm, curiosity-driven outdoor experience rooted in observation and discovery! Participants will take part in a guided hike designed to encourage exploration, observation, and connection with the natural environment. Using simple maps and trail safety guidelines, children will learn basic navigation skills while moving through the landscape at a comfortable pace. Along the way, participants will engage their senses to observe the colors, textures, scents, and sounds of the outdoors.
The hike will include a nature-based scavenger hunt, opportunities to identify local plants and animals, and hands-on investigation of natural materials such as bark, moss, and stones. Each participant will also create a personal nature journal to record observations, sketches, and discoveries, serving as a meaningful keepsake of their experience. This program emphasizes curiosity, hands-on learning, and thoughtful engagement with nature in an accessible and supportive outdoor setting.
