Join us for Community Day at Planting Fields! This event invites volunteers of all ages to help with seasonal maintenance and the removal of invasive species, ensuring that our native plants and historic collections thrive. Participants will work alongside our AmeriCorps NCCC team to learn about the importance of native species, how to identify and remove invasives, and the best practices for maintaining a healthy park ecosystem. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the preservation of Planting Fields while enjoying a day of community spirit and environmental stewardship.
