Join us for I Love My Park Day at Planting Fields!
Be part of New York State’s largest single-day volunteer event as we join thousands across the state to celebrate and care for our parks, historic sites, and public lands. Help us get Planting Fields ready for the season—roll up your sleeves and pitch in for a day of community, connection, and conservation!
Why participate?
Your time and energy make a real difference. By volunteering, you’re helping preserve our green spaces, supporting sustainability, and strengthening our community.
All volunteers must register individually to complete participation waivers. Spots fill fast—don’t miss your chance to give back!
What to bring:
• Water bottle
• Work gloves (if you have them — we’ll have extras too!)
• Sunscreen and a sunhat
• Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Enthusiasm and a helping hand!
