Open Air Yoga with Kaitlyn

Leave life’s stresses behind for an hour and find grounding through yoga on our lawns. Bring a mat, a blanket or props, and water bottle and please plan to arrive 10 minutes early.  Masks recommended, social distancing required. The Great Bird Blind Debate Opening Day

Planting Fields Foundation is pleased to invite you to the opening of The Great Bird Blind Debate exhibition with Mark Dion and David Brooks. Yvonne Winborne, Heresia Hayes and Kiena Williams

Come see Yvonne Winborne in collaboration with Heresia Hayes and Kiena Williams; dancers, vocalists, and art educators from Brooklyn, NY. Yvonne, Heresia, and Kiena will be perform and combine acapella vocal music and dance to bring to life the stories of today highlighting the sisterhood of black women and the Black Lives Matter movement. Bird Walk with North Shore Audubon Society

Rise and shine! Come to Planting Fields for a morning bird walk led by Jennifer Wilson Pines, Conservation Chair and other experienced trip leaders of the North Shore Audubon Society.  They will lead you on a bird walk alongside the Carl F. Wedell Bird Sanctuary to enjoy the abundant sights and sounds of bird species that congregate in this area. The walk will start promptly at 9:00AM and leave from the Visitor Pavilion. Birds and Design: Native Plants and Illustrations

Birds are intricate creatures of vast and varying of beauty, captivating to watch and artistically inspiring. This Panorama virtual program discusses the theme of birds and design from two points of view presented by Paul Singer and Peggy Maslow from North Shore Audubon Society. Paul will share perspective on visual arts and the life and legacy of his father, famous bird illustrator, Arthur Singer.
