Join us for a fun story time all about butterflies: their bright colors, fluttery wings, and magical transformations! After our story time, we’ll dive into a creative butterfly craft, using bright colors and patterns to design our own beautiful, winged friends. Then, we’ll explore the fascinating life cycle of a butterfly through a fun and engaging hands-on activity. Little learners will discover that, from egg to caterpillar, chrysalis to butterfly, every animal goes through a life cycle! It’s a playful blend of art and science that encourages curiosity about the natural world.
More about the Little Learner Series
Parks are for everyone – even our littlest learners! Join us twice a month for a brand-new experience: Every other week we will introduce children ages 2 – 5 to the natural world around them and engage them and their parents. We’ll tackle one theme at a time with a nature story, craft, and open play outside! This series will take place on Friday mornings from 10 – 11am unless otherwise noted.
