During this guided workshop at Coe Hall, our expert instructor, Susan Barell, will begin with an overview of the different methods used to press flowers.
Following a demonstration, each participant will receive a songbird template and get a chance to unleash their inner creativity while constructing a unique work of art using pressed flowers! All necessary materials will be included. This workshop is recommended for ages 13+. Space is limited.

About Susan Barell
Susan Barell has a master’s degree in library and information science and works as a NYS Public Librarian where she specializes in art & craft programs for children, teens and adults. Combining her love of flowers and art, Susan creates beautiful pressed flower images and shares her craft by conducting workshops throughout Long Island. Her mosaic art has been exhibited at the Art League of Long Island, and recently her pressed flower art was awarded first place at the Long Island Fair.
