These self-guided tours of the Main House are available Friday through Sunday, available at from 1 – 4pm with sessions at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, with last admittance at 3:30pm
Tickets: $15 general admission, $14 seniors (62+), $5 children (ages 6 – 17), children ages 5 and under are free.

Step into the past with a self-guided tour of the Main House, where YOU set the pace! During your exploration of  this historic house-museum,  you’ll be transported to the opulent world of W.R. Coe, an English immigrant, and his wife, American heiress Mai Rogers Coe. Uncover captivating stories about Planting Fields and the Coe family. Our expert docents are ready to enhance your experience, answering your questions, and revealing fascinating details about the family who once called this stunning estate home 

Wander through the meticulously crafted interiors of the Main House, a timeless masterpiece designed to evoke centuries of history. The house dazzles with artistic elements including intricate ironwork by Samuel Yellin, and striking murals by Robert Winthrop Chanler and Everett Shinn, all encapsulating a unique American elegance. Every corner holds a new chapter of history waiting to be discovered!

Afterward, make sure to stop by the Visitor Center and Gift Shop to take home a memento of this unforgettable experience.

– Self-Guided tours may not provide access to some rooms. Please book a guided tour for a fully immersive experience.
– Library passes can only be used for self-guided tours and cannot be used on days with special programs (i.e. festivals, concerts, benefits, etc.).
