Bundle up and join us for a cozy winter adventure all about birds! This workshop is filled with feathered fun as we learn how birds survive the winter, identify common backyard species, and discover ways we can help them during the colder months. We’ll make a bird-themed craft, learn beginner birding skills, and even create a bird feeder to take home. It’s the perfect way to connect with nature and our flying friends this winter!
About Wednesday Workshops
This monthly series of children’s workshops engages students ages 5 – 12 to explore the great outdoors of Planting Fields, and immerses them in the ecology, history, art, and more of this site. This series will take place once a month on a Wednesday evening from 4 – 6pm, unless otherwise noted.
This is a drop-off program. Guardians are encouraged to stay on-site during the duration of the program and explore the beautiful grounds!
