Registration is required; Min: 5 participants, Max: 25 participants.
$25 per child
Discover the art of letter-writing with us! In this winter break workshop, youth ages 9 – 15 will explore Coe Hall through a historical scavenger hunt while developing their literacy skills in a traditional letter-writing experience. Students will examine real letters written by the Coe family’s children over 100 years ago and be able to experiment with typewriters, quills, homemade ink, and stamps to create their own letters. Students can either keep these letters or add them to our time capsule that is set to open in 2034! Children will go home with their own vintage letter-making supply kit!
This is a drop-off program. Guardians are encouraged to stay on-site during the duration of the program and explore the beautiful grounds!
