The Great Bird Blind Debate Opening Day

September 26, 2020 | 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Planting Fields Foundation is pleased to invite you to the opening of The Great Bird Blind Debate exhibition with Mark Dion and David Brooks.

Nestled in the bird sanctuary, a habitat within a major migratory corridor, two site-specific installations address the history, culture and growing popularity of bird watching.   Art and nature converge in these opposing and functional bird blinds, inspiring observation and reflection on the character and vulnerability of the natural world.  Stroll through the bird sanctuary and visit a corresponding exhibition on view inside Coe Hall and open only to registrants. Read more about the exhibition here.
