Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Friday, Dec. 12 5:30 – 8pm Free, no registration required Location: The Camellia House, Haybarn   Join us for Long Island State Park's Annual Tree Lighting at Planting Fields! Enjoy carolers and the lighting of the tree outside the Camellia House at 6pm and visit Santa at the Haybarn until 7:30pm. The grounds are free to explore until 8pm - don't miss the Main Greenhouse's Holiday Display. Make the evening even more memorable and join in the festivities at Home for the Holidays at the Main House – get tickets now!

In the Main House, enjoy a typewriter poet, live music, a historic Coe camellia display, curated tea tastings, and hands-on activities. A multi-sensory celebration of winter’s most elegant bloom!

Join us for an engaging, nature-focused workshop designed to introduce young explorers to the remarkable birds that call Long Island home in the winter.

This special daytime edition of Creative Spirits offers guests exclusive access to the spectacular winter camellia display in the historic Camellia House, followed by a talk in the Main House by renowned horticulturist and Arboretum Director Vincent Simeone. Attendees will enjoy a self-guided stroll through the largest camellia collection under glass in the Northeast, learn about the history and cultivation of these elegant blooms, and savor a tea-based signature drink as part of this unique seasonal experience!
