Join us for a week of free, sensory-friendly exploration in celebration of Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month. We welcome participants of all abilities, sensory preferences, and communication styles in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Kick off Natural Sensory Celebration Week with a thoughtfully designed, sensory-inclusive exploration of food and plant science!

A gentle, sensory-rich experience designed to spark curiosity and calm! Participants will tune in to the sounds of nature through guided listening and hands-on experimentation.

Get messy, get curious, and create with all your senses! Participants of this workshop will engage in a hands-on art experience focused on creativity, sensory exploration, and self-expression.

Join us for a calm, curiosity-driven outdoor experience rooted in observation and discovery! Participants will take part in a guided hike designed to encourage exploration, observation, and connection with the natural environment.

Join us for an immersive two-hour workshop, where participants will explore the rich history and techniques of grafting, learn how internationally acclaimed artist Sam Van Aken weaves this centuries-old practice into his artwork. Each participant will graft their own apple tree to take home and plant, creating a living connection to this unique experience!

Campers will dive into nature-based play, creative arts and crafts, and sensory activities that spark curiosity and a love of the outdoors. They’ll explore gardens and woodlands, connect with plants and animals, and learn simple ways to care for nature—all while having fun, building confidence, and discovering the joy of the natural world.

The ultimate summer outdoor adventure at Planting Fields returns July 2026!

Campers will step into the role of true Junior Rangers, tackling hands-on engineering challenges, practicing conservation skills, and learning real-world ways to care for the environment. Along the way, they’ll enjoy creative arts and crafts, build nature awareness, and grow as confident, curious environmental stewards!

Ignite your child’s imagination this summer with our August Art Series! This four-class program invites young artists to explore a variety of creative techniques while celebrating nature and self-expression. Sign up for three classes and get the fourth one free! Step into the luminous world of stained glass as conservator and artist Alyssa Fiehel takes guests behind the scenes of one of the oldest and most captivating art forms in history. In this special edition of Creative Spirits, Alyssa will explore the evolution of stained glass, the intricate craftsmanship behind its creation, and the delicate, hands-on work required to preserve these historic masterpieces for future generations!
